Class Noticeboard
After Easter, the children will be making Art sculptures out of cardboard. For the first couple of lessons, we will need thinner cardboard (cereal boxes and kitchen roll tubes). We would be very grateful if the children could bring these in when we come back after Easter, if you have any at home!
Thank you very much!
Swimming Lessons
As part of the National Curriculum, all children must be taught to swim competently, confidently, and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, use a range of strokes effectively and perform a safe self-rescue.
To enable the children to work towards these requirements, we have booked two lanes with three specialist teachers at the River Bourne Health Club. Lessons will occur on a Wednesday afternoon.
The first session will take place on Wednesday, 26th February. The final session will take place Wednesday, 21st May. The first class will leave school following afternoon registration and will begin their swimming lesson at 1:45 pm. This lesson will then conclude at 2:15 pm. The second class will arrive prepared to start at 2:15 pm and will finish at 2:45 pm, ensuring the children can be collected, as usual, from school.
For more information please see the letter above.
